The piano accompaniment is a special aspect of artistic expression that involves very complex piano skills. The program is focused on raising awareness of the most important tasks of artists – accompanists. The theoretical part is devoted to different ways of piano accompaniment, given the successful artistic collaboration with the singers, and the accompaniment of string and wind instruments. In the practical lessons, this konowledges will be transferred to the playing and interpretation of compositions, selected for the final concert.
Marina Ivanova (Croatia), piano accompanist at the Arts Academy Split. She graduated at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, piano (I. Osipova), and chamber music (T. Alihanova). She has won numerous awards at piano competitions (Aix-en Provence, France; Classical Heritage, Moscow, J. S. Bach, Germany) and attended masterclasses led by prestigious pianists ((L. Naumova, V. Meržanova, T. Zelikmane, E. Golandske, A. Olande, B. Canino). She performed solo recitals and chamber music concerts in Russia, Croatia, France and Germany. In 2013 she won the prize Vinko Lesić in Croatia as the best piano accompanist.
