The theoretical part of the lessons will be focused on the comparison of tonal structure of the compositions for flute of Baroque and 20th century. Analytical results will be associated with the technical and interpretative requirements and the acquisition of specific skills that will have an impact on improving musicianship skills.

Ana-Domančić

Prof. Ana Domačić (Croatia) is a professor of flute at the Arts Academy Split. She graduated at the Music Academy in Zagreb (Tinka Muradori) and achieved Master Degree at the Staatliche Hochschule fűr Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Stutgart and as a Fulbright scholar was awarded a Doctor’s Degree in Art (1980) at the Peabody School of Music (Baltimore, USA). In the rich concert and pedagogical cereer, she performed as a soloist (Opera Symphony Orchestra of the Croatian National Theatre in Split, Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra and the first flute-piccolo player and concertmaster of the Croatian Navy Orchestra),  and as a professor and lecturer in many international flute masterclasses (Split, Hvar, Zadar, Pag) . Recorded few CDs with croatian composers music. She is the director of the international manifestation Flute days in Split and she has written the first higher education textbook for flute in Croatia.

Prof. Felix Renggli (Switzerland) is a professor of flute at the Musikhochschule Basel and Staatlichen Hochschule fűr Musik Freiburg. At the beginning of his cereer he was a solo flautist of the Symphony Orchestra of St. Gallen and several orchestra in Europe (Lucerne, Zűrich..). He is a member of numerous chamber ensembles as Ensemble Contrechamps/Geneva, Holliger-woodwind-quintet. Since 1999 he has been an artistic director of the Swiss Chamber Concerts. Felix Renggli has been awarded with prizes at various international music competitions and he regularly gives masterclasses in Europe (Int. Summercourses Montepulciano/Italy, Masterclasses Goslar/Germany), Japan (Int.summer academy of Musashino Music University Tokio), Australia and Southamerica (Argentina, Brasil).
